James Anderson

Vice President of Operations

James Anderson joined The Neiders Company in October 2026 as Vice President of Operations, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience in the multifamily real estate industry. He oversees property operations, portfolio performance, team development, and strategic initiatives, with a focus on operational excellence, financial performance, and delivering exceptional experiences for residents.

Prior to joining The Neiders Company, James held executive leadership positions with prominent multifamily organizations, including Lincoln Property Company, CWS, Essex Property Trust, and Camden Property Trust. Throughout his career, he has overseen more than 25,000 apartment homes and led large, geographically diverse portfolios, developing extensive expertise in asset performance, financial management, business development, operational efficiency, and organizational growth.
James is passionate about building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. His hands-on leadership style emphasizes empowering employees, developing future leaders, and establishing clear expectations that drive measurable results. He believes that investing in people and creating a strong organizational culture are essential to long-term business success.

A United States Air Force veteran, James earned his bachelor’s degree in management and his MBA in International Marketing from Park University. He also holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®) designations from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, supporting his children’s athletic pursuits, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors with his family. He enjoys traveling to see his favorite musical artists and going on the occasional golf trip with the guys!
