David Tillotson

Regional Maintenance Manager and Capital Projects

David Tillotson joined The Neiders Company in January 2026, bringing nearly 30 years of hands‑on multifamily experience and a background that spans construction management, maintenance operations, and high‑rise engineering. His career includes leadership roles with Cushman & Wakefield, Avenue5, Indigo Real Estate, and Greystar, where he supported communities ranging from large garden‑style properties to complex urban high‑rises. David began his multifamily journey in 1996 as a Groundskeeper—an experience he credits for shaping his practical, people‑first approach to property operations. He is a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) and an NAAEI Faculty Member (Advanced Facilitator Training) through the National Apartment Association.

Before entering property management, David served in the United States Air Force in Civil Engineering. His military background continues to influence his leadership style, technical expertise, and commitment to operational excellence.

Throughout his career, David has led major renovation initiatives, new‑hire maintenance onboarding, and large‑scale capital projects. As a Director of Construction, he managed more than $10 million in invoiced work, including roofing replacements, exterior improvements, and full clubhouse build‑outs. He also served as a mentor in the 2025 Washington Multi‑Family Housing Association Mentor/Mentee Cohort—an experience he considers a highlight of his professional journey.

Outside the office, David enjoys traveling, discovering great food and hidden local gems, cheering on his favorite sports teams, skiing and snowboarding, and spending time with his family and partner.
